Look What I Found....!!!!

Some of you Gearheads out there may already know this, but those that will say, "Hey, that's pretty cool.  I'll look into this for my ride"....
I had been wanting to get rid of my HEI distributor for awhile now.  But I had spent quite a bit of change already on my current ignition parts.  Well, I called the good folks at Summit Racing.
I told the tech that I wanted to place the ignion coil on the firewall in lieu of the coil in the top of the distributor.
"Yes, I can help you with that.  I also have a product that will clean up your ignion wires around the distributor."

You are looking at an 'MSD Coil Cover' on top of an 'Accel Corrected Distributor Cap'.

Obviously, the Accel cap is for Chevy motors.  It simply keeps the firing order the same but the cap is rewired inside to allow the odd / even ignition wires to be routed more efficently.  More cleanly.  And it all fits on your HEI distributor at a fraction of the cost for a new aftermarket distributor.  The MSD cover has a wire post (left) on top for connecting your remote coil on the inner fender or firewall for a cleaner appearance.  Better than the factory!
